MTX have recently secured a project at Hereford County Hospital to provide a Modular Adult Care Ward which will provide an additional 16 beds to Wye Valley NHS Trust.
Modular critical care unit for the Royal Stoke University Hospital
In January 2015 MTX working under Kier Health, completed the installation of a new modular critical care unit for the Royal Stoke University Hospital under the newly formed University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust.
Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust – 30 Bed Dementia Friendly Ward
Completion for Walsall was December 2014 and construction period was 19 weeks. In July 2014 MTX were successfully awarded the contract to design, manufacture and construct a 30 bed dementia friendly ward, now known as Ward 29. The project was completed within a 19 week period.
Working alongside Cofely Suez and Sodexo, MTX have been successful to redevelop an existing ENT department into a new 46 Bed Acute Ward. The project will contain significant works around the live hospital site, requiring careful planning to minimise disruption. The scheme is due to be completed in July 2015.
After partnering with Integrated Health Projects through a successful P21+ bid process, MTX are delivering a new Modular Twin Operating Theatre with 8 Bed Recovery at Whipps Cross Hospital. The project is part of site-wide redevelopment master plan, fashioned by Barts Health NHS Trust.
In later date of 2013 MTX Contracts were awarded the contract to design and manufacture Ashmole Academy’s new flagship 6th form centre. From the outset the aim was to produce a vibrant, modern environment for students entering higher and further education who would be using the building daily as their main base for studies and relaxation. The building would also cater for an influx in additional students numbers and increased their current 6th form capacity from 150 to 320 pupils.
