MTX make a speedy start onsite at Kent and Canterbury Hospital

MTX have already begun enabling works and are currently working on the stage 4 design to provide East Kent Hospital University NHS Foundation Trust with a new state of the art theatre development at Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

MTX will deliver a new medical physics office block, the asbestos removal and full demolition of the existing office block and the construction of 4 orthopaedic operating theatres and refurbishment of a full day surgery department.

At present, MTX have installed the new medical physics office block and are continuing with the internal works. Completion of this phase is due in June this year and the whole scheme will be handed over in April 2021.
