MTX have completed and handed over a modular Outpatients Department with X-Ray facilities to Derriford Hospital in Plymouth.

The fast-track project, which started at the beginning of August 2017, has been one of MTX’s quickest. The design phase was completed by the end of August 2017, onsite groundworks commenced on the 5^th October 2017 and the building was installed by 10^th October 2017.

The new modular OPD is housed over 1 storey of 1100m² and built onto the existing hospital carpark. Time was of upmost importance to the Trust as the old OPD was being refurbished into an extension to the current A&E Department. Construction works were completed in just 4 weeks.

The Trust were extremely pleased with the quick progress and completion of the project and MTX have received many positive comments from key Trust members.
