In June 2017 MTX successfully won the contract to provide a fast track modular Endoscopy Decontamination Facility for Colchester General Hospital in Essex.

The new facility will provide a much needed upgrade to the hospital’s current arrangement. The new Decontamination Facility will consist of totally segregated clean and dirty corridors, gown rooms, cleaner’s rooms and decontamination rooms.

The decontamination rooms will be provided with 5No Cantel Rapid AER washer units, served by Lubron R.O plant.

An external AHU will be provided for ventilation systems, the new facility will benefit from the latest technology LED lighting.

MTX established the site in mid-July and commenced with the ground works. The modular units were installed on 7th August 2017 with a final hand over date scheduled for the beginning of October 2017.
