Following a competitive tender, MTX have been awarded the contract to deliver upgrade and refurbishment works to 2 Theatre Suites at Glenfield Hospital; Theatres 7 & 8.

Having carried out construction works previously at the hospital, MTX once again procured the contract directly from the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. MTX are delivering key features such as new plant, AHU, IPS, UPS pendants, touchscreen theatre control panel, LED lighting and new BMS control system to the existing department within the main hospital building.

The installation period of the AHU units is currently taking place and the project is due to be completed next month.
