MTX have been successful on the contract to provide Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust with a new state of the art scanner suite for their Chorley hospital site.

The new suite will house a Phillips MRI scanner and supporting ancillary, within a single storey extension to the current department.

The old MRI scanner has already been removed by the Trust and MTX have demolished the previous modules.

Groundworks have now begun, in preparation for the new volumetric units to arrive and be installed in January 2021. The project is due for completion spring next year.
